Lakeland Hospice & Home Care is an independent nonprofit healthcare organization that has provided end-of-life care to terminally ill patients since 1983. It is Otter Tail County's only locally run Hospice agency and serves families in Otter Tail, Grant, Douglas, Stevens, Traverse and surrounding counties. Lakeland Hospice provides compassionate, emotional, spiritual and quality healthcare to each patient, promoting independance, comfort and dignity in all stages of life's journey. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance policie and Lakeland Hospice provides care to every eligible patient, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
