Virtual Remembrance & Hands on Grief
Virtual Remembrance Service – May 6 Free
Beginning May 6, a virtual remembrance service will be available online. We invite you to remember and honor those who have died through a virtual remembrance service. This is a peaceful time to reflect on the loss of someone special in your life. This is not a religious service, rather a time to celebrate and remember. This virtual remembrance service is free and open to anyone. Please register so we may email you the Remembrance Service link.
“Hands-On” Grief: Grief Education with an Artistic and Botanical Flair- May 6 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm Free
Research shows intentional hands-on activities help not only to comfort us in our grief, but also integrate our sense of loss and facilitate moving toward healing. Hospice of the Red River Valley offers a one-session seasonal art planter project accompanied by teaching moments emphasizing change, growth and hope. This virtual class is free and open to the public. Registration is required by April 22, so arrangements can be made to pick-up class supplies. In some cases, the packets/lists may be mailed.
